Great fun, music, view and the best crab cakes, too! Everyone who works there is so friendly. We love hanging out anytime. Great place for drinks, lunch or dinner and dancing.

Went back after staying away for over a year. Crab cakes were all lump crab meat and were delicious. Rick fish bites were incredible! Not sure what they did, but, I was impressed at the change!

Great Location. alot of Deck seating on the Water! Gorgeous Sunset Views! Great Live Music, though a bit loud for dinner and unfortunately no one really dances, just sort of "bops". Red wines are awful here... Often served spoiled or hot in summer (red wine should be stored at "room temperature" of 50-55degF, NOT 85deg during the heat waves. Margaritas and other mixed drinks were also very poor quality. Just cheap mixers and not any real lime or freshness. Lovely Bar area, Personable bar tenders, but just no attention to quality or detail, and they appear to "wing it" with a bare minimum of knowledge. On a recent visit we waited forever for the entree to be served (no aps) and at that time ordered another wine, and it came about 45 minutes later, well after the entree was finished, and only after i made 2 trips into the hostess to ask for the wine. My partner wanted salt/pepper for his steak, and waited the whole 45 minutes to start eating his steak after finally getting the condiments. So overall, the three stars are for the lovely waterfront setting.... the food, drinks and service are very unfortunately mediocre to poor... I sure wish they would upgrade a bit in those areas as I really LOVE the location on the water :)

This place SCREAMS friday night happy hour! They have a restaurant area, for which I have been to a few times. They then have a deck bar that is enclosed and a deck bar that is outside. Prices are moderate, but the atmosphere is great if you're looking for that outside happy hour feel. A younger crowd, and during the summer on a friday evening they usually have a live band on the deck bar. Good times, and a good jumping off point if you want to do a local pub-crawl. If you eat a lot and you're a sea food fan they typically have a slightly over priced all you can eat seafood buffet featuring almost anything you can imagine. Personally I'm a fried or peeled shrimp and crab leg guy, so the value isn't there for me. If you do oysters mussels and clams you may get more value from it.

First of all the place was "dead" when we walked in but this is November afterall...no music, etc. to create a nice atomsphere...actually thought it was closed when we pulled in parking lot. My friend's crab bisque said it was ok but had better in the area. My shrimp appetizer was ok but my friend's coconut shrimp was burnt beyond belief. I told her to send it back but she was hungry and it was long wait for two "fried" appetizers. Hesitate going back again...maybe in the summer to see if they are on their "a game".

Since I am from North East I have finally gotten around to most all the eating places but unfortunately The Goose was after Woody's (didn't care for it). The parking is better here, music, being on the water, better food and staff. I would have given 5 stars but think whoever owns the place needs to spend a little money on a face-lift on the inside. It also wouldn't hurt to put misting fans or a misting system outside on the deck for Summer visits. Visit Dead Freddie's in Ocean City if you want ideas of how to set the outside up. Other than that here and Paradise Grill are the best places in town to eat.

The Goose has changed it's menu. Check out the Gooses website for Bands and their new menu. Coming soon, the return of the Goose's FANTASTIC all you can eat Seafood Buffet. You NEED to try their HOMEMADE SOUPS, CHOWDERS and BISQUE'S! They're Excellent. You can dine there and not LOVE the view.

My wife and I went here yesterday for dinner. She had the Black and Blue special and I had the Seafood combination. I thought because we were on the Bay that they would have a clue on how to cook seafood... My combo was horrible. It was bland and with out taste. Th fish in the dinner was cooked so long it was like chewing a tire! On the other hand my wife's steak was great. The salad bar (new this year according to our server) was $2.99 with the entree -- it was very basic... Considering I just bought my over-cook seafood combination for $31.99 this basic salad bar should have been included. The service was good. Overall I thought it was too expensive for what we received and will not return for dinner. Might go back for drinks and be on the water, but I'll refrain from eating there again....

The place was practically empty when we arrived around 7:00pm, so we got a great view by the water from a nice, quiet table on the deck. Our waiter was easygoing and pleasant, and the overall our service was decent. My friend and I were both excited to try the great seafood at this place based on other Yelp reviews, so we ordered the crab pretzel, cajun buttermilk shrimp and scallops over pasta and a small white pizza for a little variety. The pretzel appetizer arrived quickly and included lots of delicious lump crab, but when the cajun shrimp and scallops arrived, I was disappointed - the first thing I noticed was that the dish contained an overwhelming amount of sauce, making it hard to identify any of the other components. As I dug through the sauce to investigate, I realized that it contained relatively little seafood for what I was expecting based on the dish's price ($23). The taste wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything spectacular, either; personally, I found it to be rather bland for a cajun dish. My friend claimed to enjoy her pizza, but didn't eat very much of it. Perhaps I went on a off-night (dinner on a Wednesday in August), but overall, I was underwhelmed. The food, service and atmosphere are decent, but not really worth the price.

would love to write a review on the food.... but we didn't stay to eat... 8pm on Sunday night labor day weekend 5 of us went in to eat the dining room had 2 large tables of people, the rest of the dining room was empty. There were people outside as there was a band. 15 minutes after we were seated someone came to take a drink order. 10 minutes later still no drinks. At that the table behind us got up and said.. "just a warning we have been here for 2 hours, it took 50 minutes for our apps to come" 3 minutes later a server came by and asked if anyone had come over yet. I said yes but we never saw him again. I explained what the other people said. He did not say a word. Then our server came back.. still no drinks in hand. We relayed what was told to us... He said oh let me see if the kitchen is caught up yet... We said don't bother and left...Terrible experience!

All I tried was the crab dip on pretzels and crab bisque soup... but damn were those delicious. Our drinks were a good size and decently strong, too.

Had the turkey hoagie grinder style and it was great!!! Crab dip was good, drinks were great and the view was spectacular. Defiantly deserving of five stars!

Superb eatery and bar! Probably one of the best chicken wings I've had outside Buffalo. Excellent food, excellent bar, excellent prices, and it's all on the water! Highly Recommended for a relaxing meal, but if it's formal you want, I'd look elsewhere. It's more of a shorts and flip-flops place.

Ate there with my girlfriend recently. First time. Great water view and nice deck. However....the deck was brutally hot in the sun and they did not provide umbrellas for the tables.....which they have. So....that made for an uncomfortable dining experience. The food was below mediocre at best and quite expensive (we had a couple apps, drinks and entrees and the bill was over $120). Don't mind paying that much for really good food and service but the prices do not reflect the quality. Simply over priced bad food. I will say our server was a nice kid who had just started there....actually his first night. Can't remember his name but he made the experience tolerable. Having said that.....it is a great place to get a drink or two and enjoy the view. Would never eat the food there again.

Great food and drinks. Staff was uneducated in the menu. The crab dip is worth it and sitting in the back deck over the water is awesome!

Came in here with a friend who said that this was a pretty popular local spot. The place is mostly empty, but that's okay since it's kinda late on a Sunday night. We get a table inside and peruse the menu; after regrettably passing on the delicious-sounding (and more $$$) entrees, we decided to split an appetizer order of crab dip to start. The lighter fare options were more moderately priced and you got pretty good bang for your buck. I got the Goose Burger medium rare, she got the fish tacos. The crab dip is phenomenal. It's cheesy, it's gooey, it's salty (LOVE), and it's perfectly balanced by the semi-blandness of the toasted flatbread with which it's served. It's a little hard to break into the dip with the flatbread as it's really crispy and breaks apart easily, but you can easily remedy that by using your fork. This is great mid-Atlantic bar food that you can split with friends on a boozy night out. I wasn't asked which cheese I'd like on my burger, but I ended up with pepper jack which is my favorite, so no complaints about that. The burger itself was cooked the way I like it--it was just a little boring and forgettable on its own. The chips were stale, so I didn't eat any of those. And as for the pickle... it was MIA. Sadness. The service was cordial and efficient; the server got the job done and was nice enough about it, but there was little more to it. The place itself has kind of a family dining vibe to it, despite having a sizable bar. There's a parking lot out front that can easily accommodate any party, and I bet the view from the deck is way nicer during the day. Overall it's not a bad place, but it's nothing amazing.

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and we had a beautiful view sitting on the waterside deck. I would recommend the rockfish sandwich and the crab pretzel appetizer. The burgers were also great.

I'm sorry. I'm a business man and I hate to do this to another small business but this place is in bad shape. I was a north east river boater for many years. We used to frequent the goose almost every weekend when Tony Covatta owned it, and we loved it. This place is falling apart. It's DIRTY. The bar/ pool area looked like it hasn't been vacuumed or swept in a month. They had a glass display case in the bar with dead bugs in it. The deck was literally falling apart. My five year old son nearly fell through the broken spindle. Now the food. My crab cake was dry, burnt on one side and the fries tasted like the oil was a month old. My wife's "Caesar" salad had no croutons and the dressing tasted like watered down mayonnaise. She sent it back and they took it off no questions. The service wasn't bad apart from the waiter asking the table next to us to go to the bar if they just needed drinks because he was "too busy" and the bartender wasn't busy. He had two other tables that I saw. The place was empty! I don't know why he just didn't ask the bartender to take the table and not confuse the customer. Like I said. I hate to do this but if constructive criticism helps maybe we will try you guys out again. Take some notes from Schaeffer's, Woody's, Chesapeake inn, the Wellwood. You have a goldmine there at the end of the north east river, the view is spectacular., but the place needs some work.

This place was recommended to is by a local as we were meeting some of our crew out that way for dinner No one in our party was particularly impressed with the quality of the food. I had one of their burgers and it was not better than you might get at a fast food location Our biggest complain was the wait for our food. I took over an hour for 8 of us the get our meals. None of us ordered anything that complicated. A few of our party didn't get their complete orders as they were informed when their food was finally brought out that there were out of certain items The view may be great but I would not recommend this place

Its a beach bar on the NE River. Bar prices considering the location are average, and the service is reasonable. The deck has music in the nicer weather and its fun to watch the drunk boaters. The food is good but not exceptional.

We have visited the Nauty Goose by boat several times each Summer. On our visit today (Monday), we had great expectations. We took our son who ordered the Nauty Goose burger. It was cooked properly, with crab. My husband and I each ordered the Blue Fish burger which was tasteless. It came with a mango sauce which was also tasteless. Where's the salt? Where's the spice? The waitress Jen was very good, but not enough to make us want to come back. I understand they have hired a new cook but did they taste his food?

Went there with my wife and daughter. The waitress was good in the beginning but her service became slower and slower! When I asked for another drink she said ok and went off. 10 minutes later I asked her again for my drink! She said ok! After another ten minutes I went to the hostess and asked for the manager! I explained my issue and she was nice and did not charge me for the appetizer I did have and our round. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to not only the poor waitress service but also due to the slow kitchen staff!!!

We happened upon this place while driving through Maryland back to Boston. We sat outside on the back deck and was so happy we did because the view was incredible. The only problem with being out there was that we were mainly forgotten about throughout our meal. We were driving back to Boston that night and stopped in for dinner so it was more than frustrating having to wait so long for the check and then again to pay when we needed to get back on the road. Anyways, we got the buffet. There was a pasta station and the man who made our pasta was funny and did an amazing job. My pasta was incredible! The rest of the food, was just okay. There is a large section on the back deck where it looks like they have live music. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back for that. It seems like a fun place.

Perfect place to see some water with your meal. Food was pretty good, staff was busy so not that attentive. Drinks were cold and just a great place to chill!

Its very overpriced. Service is slooooowwwww. The beer selection is lacking severely unless you like coors or st louis crap. Not worth it especially the $11 for a pie plate of calamari that was bland!

If you're coming for the view on a nice day, this is the place. If you're looking for good food, drinks, or service, you might want to think again. I had fish tacos while my boyfriend had pecan-crusted shrimp and fries. He had two different mixed drinks they were promoting. The fish tacos had one chunk of Rockfish with sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes in a really bad flour tortilla. The shrimp were burnt and the fries were cold and soggy. The drinks were weak and artificial tasting. The service was REALLY slow for EVERYTHING, although the waitress, Jennifer was very friendly. If I had known it was going to take so long to get our drinks, I would have used that time to notice that a lot of people ordered the crabcakes, which looked really good.

Had dinner here three times this past Summer. It is conveniently located right off the loading dock, which makes it a popular spot. The food..well..it needs some work. So does the service..and did I mention the food? Some very hit or miss menu items, from a hamburger being overcooked (really chef?) to some really suspect looking items on a dinner plate. One evening, I walked along side of the buffet...yikes..that was just SCARY looking. No one was obviously paying attention, with leftover food on the countertop and some very unappetizing looking food. Only bright spot was a blackened fish sandwich one evening. I'll give them another shot next Summer...but expectations are not high.

I took my wife & a GF here for an early anniversary dinner yesterday(5/26/13). We were going to go somewhere else but we seen a sign and decided on Nauti. The place was very nice sitting on the Bay and the view was beautiful. We sat outside under the roof. The service was AWESOME(how Emily remembered everything IS EXTRAORDINARY!!). We had crab cakes(fluffy & tasty), the shrimp & salmon was done exceptionally and a bite to it(YUM). and the crab bisque was creamy AND delicious! The service was exceptional( Emily came by 3 times to ask if everything was good. The other customers were friendly. The music(didnt catch the band's name) was a GREAT sound! After dinner we walked in the park adjacent to the restaurant and down on the pull-up dock to take pictures! Overall it was a wonderful experience! Will DEFINITELY return!!! THANK YOU EMILY!!!

9-6-14 Wife and I ordered a crab cake, asked if it could be broiled and was told no problem. When they arrived both were obviously fried, small and commercial looking not hand patted. Lettuce, tomato and the lemon wedge garnish appeared to be well over a day old. Lettuce was wilted and stuck to plate, tomato was also wilted, kind of clear looking and dried, lemon was dried out looking. I would not have served this food at my house and it should not be served at a restaurant. My wife noticed on our way in that our car was the only car in the lot with Maryland plates, should have told me something. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!

Great place to sit on the back deck overlooking the water as the boats go by. Make sure you order food while sitting on the back deck or the waitress will not serve you alcohol. I had to go inside to get the drinks for my group of six. Forget about conversing if the band starts playing.

We went to the Goose Saturday 5/22/10 for the first time. My husband had a delicious steak & I ordered the lobster tails. I sent my meal back to have the tails removed from the shells (I couldn't get them out); then I sent my meal back because I didn't think the tails were completely cooked (texture was like sushi). The Manager came over with peel & eat shrimp as a compliment for our inconvenience; which we thought was a great gesture. When the tails came back I was told the membranes of these tails are shallow & they were cooked - not for me, I had better tasting lobster at the Red Lobster. The Owner was very apologetic & was sincere with his comments, we thought that was extremely gracious, & he hoped we will give them a second chance. I'm not sure that will happen.
